Monitoring at the NSC (National sports Centre) Blanchardstown was carried out during the laying of a cross-country track within the lands south-west of the vacant Abbottstown House in an area covering 35,000 sq m. Monitoring took place for the removal/rotavation of 0.2-0.3m of topsoil prior to the laying of drainage gravel and track surface. The small church/graveyard remains, DU014-031, which lie within the NSC lands were not impacted upon by the track route.
No archaeology was found.
