Monitoring was undertaken here, with the assistance of Peter Kerins, and took one and a half days to complete.

Development involved the construction of a small extension (measuring 4.3m x 2.1m) in the southern half of a back garden, along with the insertion of services in the northern half. Development works were located within the footprint of a recently demolished extension. A large manhole leading to a sewer was located in the centre of the garden area and just to the north of the new structure.

Site reduction was to a maximum depth of 0.7m below the existing ground level. The excavated material was a mixture of rubble and garden soil from previous ground disturbance. Excavation did not extend beyond the level of the rubble and garden soil. No pre-19th-century artefacts were recovered during monitoring.

No archaeological features or artefacts were revealed as a result of carrying out the monitoring.
