Monitoring was carried out prior to the construction of a 2056 sq. m Logistics Warehouse Building and car park at 6 Damastown Avenue, Damastown Industrial Estate, Dublin 15. The topsoil of the proposed of construction area was stripped by mechanical excavator under supervision in fulfilment of Condition 8 of Planning Reference No. issued FW15A/0059, 15/4077 by Fingal Co. Council. The monitoring was carried out between 26 October and 4 November 2015.
No features or deposits of an archaeological nature were identified during the monitoring phase of works.
