An archaeological evaluation was carried out at Maconachie Church Hall, Killowen, Coleraine ahead of a proposed extension to the building. Due to the presence of pathways and drains it was only possible to strip a small area of the site. Although nothing was uncovered there was still the possibility of human remains being present and further monitoring would have been required when the construction phase begins. After undertaking this work, the development was cancelled, as was licence AE/15/116.
