Monitoring of ground works associated with a wind farm development at Killaveenoge, Drinagh, Co. Cork was carried out over several months between August and November 2015. The permitted development consists of a 10 turbine wind farm and associated infrastructure. The wind farm is located in the townlands of at Killaveenoge East, Killaveenoge West, Derreenaspeeg, Garranes and Curranashingane, Drinagh, Co. Cork. The site is situated approximately 4km south-west of Dunmanway town, south-east of the regional road, R586. The site itself comprises upland terrain which was under coniferous forestry prior to development. Monitoring of peat and topsoil removal on the wind farm site did not reveal any archaeological features, finds or deposits.
