Monitoring was carried out of groundworks for Phase 2 of an extension to Ennistimon Community Hospital which occupies the site of Ennistymon Union Workhouse. An earlier phase of extension to the hospital was carried out in 2013–4 and subject to unlicensed monitoring. Nothing of archaeological significance was found in either phase of work.
