Monitoring was carried out of groundworks related to the West Clare Railway Greenway Phase 1 in Ennis, Co. Clare. Works involved resurfacing roads and paths from Woodquay to the Lees Road Sports and Amenities Park. As subsurface impact was minimal only two locations were monitored: the Lees Road section and either side of Mill Road. No archaeological features, deposits or artefacts were revealed.
