Test trenching was carried out in advance of a proposed graveyard extension to the east of Killadysert medieval church and graveyard. The trenching identified a small burnt stone spread adjacent to a palaeochannel. The spread, which was fully excavated during testing, measured 2.6m by 1.75m and was 0.25m thick. A gravel trackway leading to the existing churchyard was also recorded. Testing also demonstrated that anomalies identified in an earlier geophysical survey (14R0141) do not have an archaeological origin. Monitoring of topsoil stripping during construction was recommended.
