Excavation at this site, on the M11 Gorey to Enniscorthy Scheme, revealed a charcoal-production pit and three pits. Medieval pottery was recovered from the topsoil and a single radiocarbon determination places the charcoal-production pit’s use in the late 10th to 12th century AD
