Monitoring of excavation works for a dwelling house, driveway, puraflow system, percolation area and associated site works was undertaken at Ballynacloona, Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary as part of granted planning permission. The house site was located within the vicinity of a ‘dwelling house possible’. This 17th-century house is set is within the midst of an existing farmyard comnplex and c. 70m to the east of the development site.
Nothing of an archaeological nature was found during the course of monitoring works.
