The client applied to Meath County Council for permission to construct a dwelling house, driveway and sewage treatment system at Riverstown, Kilmessan. An archaeological impact assessment was requested. The development site is located approx. 1.35km to the west of the complex of monuments on the Hill of Tara. Linear earthwork ME031-040 is situated to the south-east of the development site. Seven trenches were excavated on this development site. No archaeological material was found in any of them.
