The development was for the provision of 24 dwellings and was located to the east of Main Street in Dunshaughlin, in an area known as The Bungalows/Maelduin. It took place on a site measuring approximately 1.03 hectares, and site development works included roadways, paths, boundaries, open space and tree planting.
The excavation of six test trenches located throughout the development area failed to reveal any archaeological features or artefacts. On all occasions topsoil directly sealed subsoil which directly sealed a geologically deposited stratum.
