Test trenching was carried out pre-planning and in advance of the proposed construction of a single dwelling and connection to the existing sewerage system at Donaghmore, Navan, Co Meath. The site is currently a garden associated with a single house which it is proposed to demolish and a new house is to be built in its place. The site is beside ME025-015001, 015002, a round tower and church, located within the townland of Donaghmore.
No archaeological features or deposits were located within the footprint of the proposed dwelling and it is considered unlikely that any deposits or features exist elsewhere on the site.
