Pre-development testing took place on the site of a proposed wind farm at Magheramore and Cregganbrack, Co. Mayo between 19 May and 4 June 2014. The development comprises the construction of 7 wind turbines, upgrade of existing and provision of new internal access roads, provision of an anemometry mast, peat disposal areas, underground electricity cabling and temporary construction compound. There are no recorded monuments within the site boundary. Twenty-six test trenches were opened on the sites of the proposed wind farm infrastructure. No archaeology was found.
