Monitoring of site investigations associated with the Kilkenny Water Conservation and Network Management Project was carried out in Graiguenamanagh, Co. Kilkenny in December 2014. A number of the slit trenches were excavated in the vicinity of Duiske Abbey (KK029-018001, National Monument No. 620) and were done so under Ministerial Consent (C667). No archaeological finds, features or deposits were noted during the monitoring. All spoil from the slit trenches was also subject to a metal detector survey (licence No. R372). No artefacts were recovered.
