Monitoring was undertaken in relation to the realignment of 270m of the L-4101 single carriageway road at Oranhill, just south of Oranmore town. The work was undertaken on the east and west sides of the existing road and monitored for 8 days between 9 and 18 December 2013 and 16 days between 19 May and 13 June 2014. These works were undertaken on behalf of Galway County Council.
No archaeological features or deposits were revealed during the monitoring of the development works.
