Monitoring of drainage works was carried out close to the Nunciature Road on the Ashtown Demesne, south of the 15th-century Ashtown Castle and close to what was once the Under- Secretary lands and now land which incorporates the OPW Phoenix Park Visitor Centre. Narrow drainage insertion lines across the site area made minimal impact. No archaeology was found.
