2014:209 - MALAHIDE: Grange, Dublin

Testing was carried out at the site of a proposed single storey office and septic tank area located in Grange townland within an existing commercial property (Irish Farm and Garden Machinery). The site is currently occupied by a number of glasshouses, stores and workshops. The proposed building sits between a glasshouse and a store. Five trenches with a total length of 45 linear metres were excavated across the site in the line of the proposed foundations and septic tank area. Subsoil consisted of a mid to light orange brown stony clay. No archaeological finds or features were recorded.
