Testing was carried out in Diswellstown townland, North County Dublin over two days from 13 October 2014 in response to a planning condition (ref. FW14A/0066). The work was carried out on behalf of Park developments. The site is located west of the M50 Motorway, north of Diswellstown House (a protected structure), east of Diswellstown Road and south of Burnell Park Avenue and Carpenterstown Road. A total of 14 test trenches were excavated at the site and no features or finds of archaeological interest were identified in any of the trenches.
