An archaeological evaluation was commissioned by Ards Borough Council ahead of the proposed construction of a new multi-purpose sports and leisure facility located at Dairy Hall, Newtownards. The area of development is located within the area of archaeological and historical interest for Newtownards.
A series of 15 trenches were excavated across the proposed development area.
No archaeological deposits were identified during monitoring.
