Monitoring of foundation trench excavation in advance of development at the site of a former Bus Depot, Killinchy Street, Comber was carried out over a period of 7 days between August—September 2014. Excavation of foundations revealed that the site consisted largely of modern overburden overlying demolition rubble to a depth of between 0.8–1m which lay directly on top of a natural gravel subsoil. No archaeological features were noted during monitoring of ground works at the site.
