The monitoring of the foundations indicated that this part of the site was cleared prior to the site being filled. This work may have occurred during the period when the army was on the site or when the site was used as a car park for a local car dealership or a mixture of the two. Monitoring has indicated that archaeological material surviving on the site is likely to be minimal largely due to all of the recent activity on the site.
