Testing was undertaken on the site of the proposed Lough Cuill wind energy development, near Laghy, Co. Donegal in May 2014. A total of 15 test trenches comprising 550m² were excavated throughout the site. In addition, a number of geotechnical pits were excavated under archaeological supervision. No features of archaeological significance were identified within the site.
