Pre-development test-trenching was undertaken on 19 December 2014 at a proposed development site at 104 Main Street, Dungiven, Co. Londonderry, having been commissioned by Mr. Vincent Doherty.  The works undertaken relate to a Planning Consent for a proposed development comprising the replacement of existing buildings (Public House, vacant function rooms and dwelling) yards and garden with Public House and off-license (2 storey), 4 commercial units with 4 apartments above (3 storey) and 6 apartments (3 storey) within the garden space to the rear of the property at 104 Main Street, Dungiven, Co. Londonderry (Planning Ref: B/2008/0208/F).

A total of c.35m of linear trenching was excavated within the area of proposed invasive groundworks.
No archaeological features, remains or deposits were identified during the test-trenching evaluation works.
