Monitoring of primary ground reduction works was undertaken on 3 November 2014, having been commissioned by the Coleraine Methodist Church, and relates to a Planning Condition requested by the Northern Ireland Environment Agency: Historic Monuments Unit (NIEA:HMU) under Planning Policy Statement 6: Built Heritage 4 (PPS 6:BH4) for archaeological mitigation associated with the proposed alterations to the Methodist Church & Halls, Circular Road and Queen Street, Coleraine, Co. Londonderry (Planning Ref: C/2013/0456/F), to include the replacement of an existing flat roof link and internal alterations to existing walls to include shop front alterations.
No archaeological features, remains or deposits were identified during archaeological monitoring works at the site.
