Pre-development test trenching was carried out in response to planning conditions imposed by NIEA:HMU under PPS6:BH4 relating to a proposed windfarm at Crockandun, Draperstown, Co Londonderry with specific reference to LDY040:010 located within the northern portion of the site boundary outside the current area of development. A total of 1.7km of linear test trenching was carried out revealing topsoil within the development area to be on average 0.5m deep. No archaeological deposits were uncovered during the course of the test trenching works.
