This assessment was undertaken in advance of construction of a secondary school at Tulla Co. Clare. Six trenches with a total length of 400m were excavated within the site. One new archaeological site was identified within the proposed development area, a disturbed fulacht fiadh (3.5m x 3.5m) that had no surface expression. No archaeological finds were recovered within the site. A similar site was recorded to the east during a previous assessment (09E262).
No additional archaeological material was identified.
