An assessment was undertaken of the archaeological impact of the construction of a new dwelling and associated works located at Wells, Bagnelstown, County Carlow. The proposed development site was within the zone of archaeological potential of CW016-036, a church and graveyard. Three test trenches were opened and a single small area of in situ burning (0.65m x 0.42m) was discovered. No other features or finds of archaeological significance were found.
