Testing took place of a proposed school at Joseph Street and Green Street, Wexford at the site of WX037-050 (windmill). Four test trenches totalling 155m were excavated across the site. A significant quantity of rubble and soil has been used to raise ground level within the site, up to 1.1m deep to the west and south, and greater than 2m to the east. Further testing is planned prior to construction. No features, structures or objects of archaeological significance were recorded.
