Monitoring of an extension to a 19th-century Presbyterian Church was undertaken in 2013. Test trenching was carried out at this site in 2012? as part of a pre-development assessment of the proposed development in a narrow strip of ground adjacent to the north and east walls of the church. No archaeological features were uncovered during testing and the area due to be impacted was found to have been previously disturbed by underground service trenches and the foundations of the church walls. However, given the potential for the presence of unmarked burials it was recommended that ground works be monitored during the construction phase. This was carried out in April 2013; nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered.
