A program of archaeological testing was carried out in advance of a proposed industrial development located within IDA Lands at Butlerstown North, Waterford. This was undertaken in response to planning conditions attached to the proposed development (Planning Ref.: 13/25).
A total of five trenches were excavated across the proposed development area during the course of a day. Nothing of archaeological significance was identified.
