Alterations to a development here were monitored as the proposed development lies 15m outside, to the west of, the medieval town wall but within the zone of archaeological potential for the town of Clonmel, TS083-019. Planning permission was granted to alter and extend the existing ground floor and construction of a lift shaft over 3 floors to the rear of the building. Ground works were carried out from January to February 2013. No features or finds of an archaeological nature were uncovered.
