This site covered an area measuring 9m by 2m and was composed of loosely scattered roundwoods and brushwoods. The roundwoods measured up to 1.2m in length and 0.1m in diameter. Although bark was present on some elements, the wood was very poorly preserved, being degraded and fragmented, and lying at a variety of angles and orientations, with no clear structure discernable. The scatter was truncated by the road cut at its northern end and petered out towards the south. This may possibly represent the disturbed remains of a north-south trackway but is more likely to simply be scattered remnants of the adjacent trackways, which have a very disturbed appearance in this area.
