This site was situated just south of RD23-3-1?, which it partly overlay, with around 0.2m of peat between the two the two sites. The wood covered an area 2.9m by 1.3m and was 0.2m in depth, although the full extent could not be determined, since the structure continued below the southern baulk of the cutting and only the northern and western limits could be established. It consisted of roundwoods and small planks, together with some brushwood. The elements measured up to 1m in length and 0.13m in diameter. The elements were laid parallel to each other in a single layer on an east-west alignment. The structure was fairly dense to the west but became more scattered to the east. The wood was in degraded condition and the eastern limit of the site was represented by little more than scraps.

A piece of birch, sampled for radiocarbon dating, returned a date of 4030±47 BP (UBA-24165)
