Monitoring was undertaken in April 2013 of site investigations associated with the proposed Monaghan Watermains Rehabilitation Scheme. Several post-medieval culverts were identified crossing Mill Street, Dawson Street, Church Road, North Road and Market Street. A low wall foundation was also identified on Church Road and a red brick service casing was identified on Dawson Street. No other features were noted during the course of works.
