Testing took place of a proposed extension to Gaelscoil an Bhradain Feasa primary school on Mill Road, Colp, Co. Meath. The site was a green-field area to the rear of an existing temporary school (previously tested in 2008; Excavations 2008:947). The site encroached on the constraint area for ME021-016 (fulacht fia), and was in close proximity to ME021-011001 (cemetery) and ME021-011002 (enclosure), an early medieval cemetery partially excavated in 1988 (Excavations 1988:51). Five trenches with a total length of 335m were excavated across the site. Subsoil consisted of a mid to light orange brown stony clay. No archaeological features were recorded.
