Monitoring is ongoing as part of the development of a distribution road within the townland of Newtownmoyaghy, which is located to the east of Kilcock town. Monitoring of topsoil stripping was recommended in a testing assessment that was undertaken by IAC Ltd in 2010 (2010:530). During testing no features were identified within the wayleave of the proposed distribution road.
Monitoring of topsoil stripping commenced at the site in December 2013 and lasted for 11 days into January 2014. No archaeological features or deposits were located during the course of works.
