The site is situated in the townland of Obertstown which borders the archaeologically rich townland of Skreen to the west and the archaeological landscape of the Tara Skreen valley. There are no RMP sites for this townland. It is proposed to construct a detached two-storey dwelling house with a terrace at first floor to the side, detached garage, proprietary waste water treatment unit and percolation area, new access road to the house with associated services, landscape and site development works. Groundworks associated with the development were carried out under supervision on 15 January 2013 and no archaeological material was recorded.
