The sites at Ballynaslee 3 and 4 were identified during testing (by James Eogan, 12E0342) of the proposed N77 Ballynaslee Road Realignment Scheme. Ballynaslee 4 comprised two possible pits with largely sterile fills. Ballynaslee 3 comprised a concentration of carbonised silt patches and an area of in situ burning derived from scrub clearance.
