Monitoring was undertaken at the site of a proposed ‘drive-thru’ restaurant located adjacent to the Hebron Road, Garrincreen, Kilkenny. Monitoring was recommended in a testing assessment of the site undertaken by Tim Coughlan (licence 12E279). Monitoring formed part of the conditions attached to the grant of planning issued by Kilkenny County Council (Planning Ref.: P12/239).
Nothing of archaeological significance was found during testing. Monitoring was undertaken intermittently from 22 August to 4 October 2013. Nothing of archaeological significance was found.
