Monitoring was carried out during August 2013 of the replacement of c. 460m of watermains along Parson's Street, Maynooth. It was originally intended to carry out work along Leinster Street as part of the scheme, but this work will be undertaken under separate contract. No features of archaeological significance were identified during the course of works. Parson's Street has been subject to a large amount of disturbance due to the laying of services.
