Testing took place in advance of the construction of an access track associated with the N22/N69 Tralee Bypass. There were no known archaeological features present within the footprint but the development is close to KE029-040 and KE029-041, recorded as enclosures. Three test trenches totaling 155 sq m were mechanically opened within the footprint of the proposed development. No archaeological remains were encountered.
