Test trenching was undertaken in a green field site on the proposed footprint of a single wind turbine and associated features. There are no recorded archaeological features or monuments within the development site or within 1km of its boundary. Trenches were excavated on the line of the proposed access track, turbine and crane hardstands and nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered.
