An archaeological evaluation was undertaken on 6 April 2013 at the site of a proposed development. The evaluation was requested by NIEA: HMU due to the former presence of a standing stone [DOW047-069] 65m to the east of the site. A total of 11 test trenches were excavated across the extent of the proposed development. The site was characterised by topsoil up to 0.85m deep overlying subsoil and bedrock. Nothing of archaeological interest was found.
