An archaeological evaluation was undertaken on 20 May 2013 at the site of a proposed development. The evaluation was requested by NIEA: HMU due to the presence of Kilcock graveyard [DOW047-066], located immediately east and a scheduled cashel and souterrain [DOW047-067] c. 120m to the south-east of the site. A total of 22 test trenches were excavated across the extent of the proposed development. The site was characterised by topsoil up to 0.7m deep overlying subsoil. Nothing of archaeological interest was found.
