A survey and monitoring were carried out for urgent remedial works at Kent Street Quay Wall, Clonakilty, Co. Cork. The existing river wall required urgent repair in advance of the proposed Clonakilty Flood Relief Scheme. The excavation of a foundation trench for the replacement wall between the Library Bridge and the pedestrian bridge was monitored. The bank and the riverine material were examined. No sites, features or objects of archaeological significance were recorded.
