Limited excavation within Killilagh Church, Doolin, Co. Clare, as part of a community based restoration programme, exposed parts of the church walls that had been hidden by topsoil. Also found was the location of the altar, as was to be expected, at the north-east gable of the structure. The likely displaced altar itself was found in the transept.
