Test trenching was undertaken on lands adjacent to Killadysert church and graveyard in advance of an extension to the burial ground. The trenches were targeted to anomalies revealed in a geophysical survey (13R0028). Five test trenches with a combined length of 100m were excavated north-west of the church. No archaeological features, deposits or artefacts were observed in the testing and the geophysical anomalies proved to be outcropping shale.
