Monitoring of topsoil removal associated with a housing development at Salter’s Grange, Co. Armagh was carried out over two days in September 2013. Topsoil was removed over a portion of the site to facilitate the construction of one dwelling house. The site was also subject to a metal detection survey during topsoil removal. No archaeological finds, features or deposits were noted during monitoring. The remainder of the topsoil removal may take place in 2014.
