An evaluation was requested at this site due to its proximity to the Dane’s Cast (ARM029-016) and also other archaeological sites in the general area. It was prompted by a planning application for a new dwelling and garage. Four trenches were excavated at the site each 2.1m wide and ranging in length 30-39m. No finds or features of archaeological significance were uncovered at the site.
